Hello again,
Big things coming up here at school!!! Monday, January 31,2000 kicks off our celebration of Catholic Schools Week here at St. Francis Xavier. We have a week planned that allows for the fun celebration of all the things that make our Catholic school great: school spirit, joyful praise, recognition of those who make this all possible, and even a group outing. All are welcome to come and join in any of our celebration activities. Here is a scheduile of events:
Monday: Spirit Day!!! School teams can wear their sports jerseys, everyone else can wear the mighty colors of green and white. Jeans are allowed on this day, no charge!! Any make up or other use of green and white must be in good taste, Not escessive!!!
Tuesday: Volunteer Day!!! Morning Mass at 8:15 for our volunteers. Brunch after Mass in the school gym for volunteers.
Wednesday: Special Person Lunch!!! 11:00 in the gym. See attached form (form not posted - call the school office if you need one) for information, return form and money by Monday, Jan. 31. Thursday: Parish Outreach Day!!! Students will be working on cards, pictures, and other projects to share with our parish family.
Friday: Bowling/Jeans Day!!! Free jeans day. All classes grades 1 - 8 will go bowling after having lunch here at school. Cost is $4.00 per child (2 games plus shoe rental). Bowling form is attached (form not posted - call the school office if you need one) and is due by Monday, Jan. 31.
Our school calendar is attached (posted on website), please check for informatin on conferences, days off, and other important events.
